Co-Browser Feature Tour
Easy Step-by-Step Instructions
Back to Feature Tutorials
Welcome to the Co-Browser Feature Tour of Live Online Meeting™.
This tutorial is designed to give you an overview of the Co-Browser feature tool available to you in your Live Online Meeting™ room.
The Live Online Meeting™ Co-Browser tools allows you as an operator to browse and "push" web sites in real-time
to all the guests in your meeting room. As you click on web site links and navigate around the internet, your guests
will see the same pages you see. As you scroll a web page in your Co-Browser window, the Guests will see the web page
scrolling in sync with your every move. This is a great way to give your guests a virtual how-to tour of your company
web site, a registration and order process, or marketing training.
When you first sign in to the Live Online Meeting™ program, both Operators and Guests will be greeted with a default
Co-Browser splash screen. Operators can chose to change this splash to any web page you want to display on start-up
from the Operator Control Panel.

The Co-Browser is the only tool with its own options menu. This options menu is only shown to Operators, not Guests.

Push This Page:
Click this menu option to "Push" or broadcast the web site page you are currently viewing to all
the guests in your meeting room. As long as you leave the "Use Follow-Me Web-Browsing" option in the default "checked"
setting, your guests' browser window will automatically follow along to any pages you navigate to from that web site.
You only need to click "Push This Page" the first time you type in a new web site URL in the Co-Browser address bar.
This gives you the ability to navigate to a specific page you want to show your guests without them "seeing" all the
pages and steps you took to get there.
Add/Store a URL:
This menu option allows you to save a list of your most frequently visited web sites and quickly access and load those web sites
during your live presentation.

Use Follow-Me Web-Browsing:
When the "Use Follow-Me Web-Browsing" option is in the default "checked" setting, your guests' browser window will automatically
follow along to any pages you navigate to from that web site. As you scroll up/down a web page, your guests will see the same
position on the web page.
Turning off Follow-Me Web-Browsing allows you to navigate to a web site of your choice and find the page you want to show your
guests without them "seeing" all the pages and steps you took to get there.
Hide Co-Browser Features:
You have the option show or hide the Guest Co-Browser features during your meetings. Hiding the Co-Browser features prevents
your guests from typing in another web site URL and "surfing the internet", giving you more control over the web pages your
guests are viewing during your presentation.

Hide Co-Browser Features (Op):
You can also chose to hide the Co-Browser features in your own Operator window. This can be beneficial when creating a stand-alone
presentation using the Live Online Meeting™ recording feature when you do not want to include URLs and /or the Co-Browser
features at all during the recording. Press the F3 key to bring back the Co-Browser features when needed.
Using Your Own Web Site Links in Live Online Meeting:
For a more professional image, you can purchase a custom web site domain name (ex: MySuperSalesTeam.com)
and "forward" that domain name to your room's auto-login link. Using a low cost domain registrar like "GoDaddy",
you can purchase your own domain name and set up an e-mail account (ex: YourName@MySuperSalesTeam.com)
to match.
If you have a replicated web site url, you can copy and paste that URL into the Co-Browser of Live Online Meeting.
If you want to make your own web site with information, videos, and presentation pages and show that web site in your Live Online Meeting room, You can
purchase a custom web site domain name AND a basic
web hosting plan that allows you to host your web site pages. Most affordable hosting companies like
"GoDaddy"
and "Host Gator" provide a selection
of web site templates you can chose from to get you started - no programming skills required.
*Please Note: Live Online Meeting does not provide technical support for hosting account setup or functionality.
