Welcome to the Video Conferencing Tour of Live Online Meeting™.
This tutorial is designed to give you an overview of the Video Conferencing feature tool available to you in your Live Online Meeting™ room.
The Live Online Meeting™ Video Conferencing feature allows you to broadcast a live video feed from your computer to all the guests in your
meeting room. This feed can be from your personal web cam, or a video broadcast from a video camera connected to your
computer. You also have the ability to give Video Conferencing access to individual guests (*up to 6 simultaneously)
allowing them to broadcast video during the meeting creating a virtual roundtable of guests.
*Please note, the number of simultaneous video connections, size, and quality depends on the internet conenction and
computer resources of all the guests in your meeting room. Simultaneous video broadcasting requires a lot of bandwitdh and a high-end broadband
connection is recommended for all users who will be broadcasting a live video stream during your conference session.
After you select "Video Conferencing" from the Tools/Features menu, your connected video device will be initialized and a real-time preview will
be displayed. Your video is not seen by your room guests until your click the "Start Broadcasting" button. Your guests will not see this video start
screen, they will see a short message letting them know a video session is being started.

You can create a "Virtual Roundtable" discussion by giving video permissions to a few select guests in your room.
(See the Guest Management Tutorial for more information on setting permissions) Those guests will then be allowed
to start their own video broadcast and will appear together in the Video Conferencing window.

You can select your video source, set the broadcast video size and frame rate, and adjust your general camera settings in the "Video Settings" tab
located by clicking the "System Settings" button at the bottom right corner of the LOM window.

Remember, the larger you set your video window and the higher you set your video frame rate, the more bandwidth it will require and you may exceed
the cababilities of some of the guests in your room. As a general rule, keep your video set to the default 176 x 144 size at 5 frames per second.
If you only have a few geusts in your room, you can ask if they have a few extra minutes to allow you to adjust you video for the best result of
everyone in the room.
You may have a time when you want to broadcast a video direct from a connected digital video camera. For this, you will want to increase the
video size to 352 x 288 for better visability and ask any other guests you gave video rights to stop broadcasting their video during that time.
To include the video's audio, place your microphone next to the speaker of the video camera.
