Audio Player and Converter

Below is the Audio Player.  From this utility, you can play the audio only from a recorded web meeting, and convert the recorded file into an MP3 or Wav format.

The numbers displayed on the right side of the player represent the duration of the recorded audio (first line), and the audio quality and complexity settings (line two).

Playing a Recorded Audio File

Once the audio player is opened, click the "Load" button, locate the file you have recorded or downloaded, select it and click OK.  The file you have selected will begin playing.  Also available are standard controls such as "Pause", "Stop", "Fast Forward", and "Rewind".

Converting a Recorded Audio File

Once the audio player is opened, click one of the "Convert" buttons, locate the .Spx file you have recorded or saved, select it and then click "Open".  Now assign a file name for the new file that will be converted, then click "Save".  The .spx audio file will now be converted.  The amount of time needed to complete this process is determined by the size of your file and processing speed of your computer.

Note: The converted audio file will be much larger in size than the original .spx file.

Recording a Meeting

Once you are logged into a meeting, click the "Record" button, (located in the lower right corner of the conference room), then assign a file name, then click OK.  There is no need to put an extension at the end of the file name as this is automatically added by the program.

To stop recording, click the record button again and you will see the look of the button will change indicating the recording process has stopped.  It is very important that you turn off the record button before logging out.

Note: The room Operator/Moderator has the ability to "deactivate" your "Record" feature.  When deactivated, your "Record" button will appear grayed-out.
